Closed since last summer much to the chagrin of the Cambridge community, the world’s only Curious George store is coming back to Harvard Square this spring – with a difference. Roslindale residents Adam and Jamie Hirsch having been working with NBC Universal, the company that produces the animated TV show, and local organizations to revamp the business. A grand reopening is scheduled on April 28.

The commemorative T-shirts, caps, shot-glasses and assorted Big Blue tchotchkes were selling like the proverbial hot cakes.
